Jenny & Vic’s wedding: Northaven UMC and Brookhaven Country Club

Sometimes the most emotion-filled and moving wedding ceremonies are second weddings. There’s a little less stress, a lot less wedding etiquette “rule-following”, and a lot more intimate involvement of family and friends. Jenny and Vic’s wedding was no different. Having photographed the weddings of both Vic’s daughters, I already knew and loved this family. Getting to know Jenny and her family was just the icing on the cake.

They told me when we first met that the most important part of the day to them was the ceremony in their home church. A church that took them in with open arms and showed them the love of God they were searching for. A church they looked forward to attending on a weekly basis. A church where their extended family of close friends held them dear and prayed with them. This ceremony was the culmination of so much more than just finding each other… and I could feel it too.

But let’s not get too far ahead.

First, some detail loveliness and a first look that makes me smile ear to ear:

Then, an emotion-filled ceremony surrounded by family and dear friends:

A unique “grand exit” on Vic’s party bus (an old converted school bus):

And lastly, a vivacious reception worthy of Jenny’s Argentinian roots:

Props to an amazing reception at Brookhaven Country Club and A Moments Notice Band for keeping the party rocking!
